ABOUT NYESA

The New York English Schools' Association (NYESA) is an association of English as a Second Language schools in New York State. Our members are regulated by the New York State Department of Education. New York is the only state in the USA that requires English schools to be licensed. Most of our members are authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the United States to enroll foreign, non-immigrant students.

Our member schools offer a large range of courses, prices, and services for every student's budget. We invite students from around the world to be a part of the energy and excitement of New York State. Now is the time to experience the spirit of New York at its finest! Mission Statement - The New York English Schools Association:
The New York English Schools Association is a professional organization whose members are certified by the New York State Education Department. Its primary objective is to promote the interests and general welfare of proprietary ESL schools in New York and to set standards of quality for self-regulation of this sector. It provides its members with the most current information regarding both educational and policy issues that impact the sector, and ensures that its members follow sound and ethical business practices. Additionally, the association promotes the study of English as a Second Language in the State of New York.
